The Mimshak Program is dedicated to improving cooperation and promoting dialogue between the scientific community and the public policy makers in Israel. The mandate of the Mimshak Program is to fortify the scientific basis that supports the formulation of environmental public policy in Israel. This goal is pursued by integrating the knowledge from the field of environmental science and ecology in decision making processes and by working to ensure that this knowledge is applied in various government institutions.
